This weekend I’ve come back home to Wales, and today after a drive through the never-ending countryside I came across a fantastic craft & antique centre that was full of inspiration and great finds. Inside the centre, which is an old converted mill, there were various rooms and corridors lines with cabinets, all full of objects I wanted for myself and my projects.
At first I noticed the many different wooden box constructions, all with assorted internal structures, that really gave me some insight into the kind of box or boxes I’m planning on making.

In one of the countless cabinets I found a collection of antique miniature liquor bottles and on spotting them I just had to buy a part of the collection for myself. I’ve been after some small bottles like these for such a long time, and they’re perfect for my project as I plan on using bottles containing a selection of scents in my chest constructions.
