p for practice

I made this practice box in the wood workshop, experimenting with some of the joinery and structures I hope to use in my final piece. This one is far simpler than what I have in mind, but I'm really pleased at how easy I found it to make - fingers crossed that this means the one I want to make isn't as impossible as I thought. I placed a few objects within the box to give an idea of how the spaces will be filled, however in my final box there's going to be a lot more thought going into what goes where:
