It's taken a bit of time but my cabinet/box is almost finished, I just need to make and add a few more things and it will be ready. There will be bright colours in the jars that are representative of certain memories, and a photograph of woodland in the photograph frame, as well as a few more additions I have in mind like pressed bluebells and an old skipping rope. I like the idea of hand-painting some small boxes with little treasures inside as I've got so many quirky little collections of things like old coins and badges but nowhere to put them as of yet. The main theme of the box is childhood and memories, which is inspired by the stories told to me by a very kind elderly gentleman who has been a pen-pal of sorts to me, but I want people to be able to decipher the meaning themselves as they explore the items of curiosity.
